On May 31, the official opening of the Armenian National Supercomputing Center took place in the Engineering City. The supercomputer donated to Armenia by the Toulouse Institute of Computer Science Research, named after the great Armenian singer Charles Aznavour, is the first in the region. This will be a great incentive for the development of the field of big data computing in Armenia, which will have a chain of positive results for the continuous progress of a number of areas of science.
The operation and maintenance of the supercomputer center will be carried out by the Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
